There are those whose belief is to acquire material wealth during their brief time on this earth. Their legacy being the riches and whatever empire they amass. I submit that our lives are enriched by those who we touch and we live on in the memories of others.

This site originates to honour those before us so that they may live on in our memories. Perhaps we better understand ourselves in knowing our ancestors. Their legacy rests with their children and future generations.

The gift of information on this site is based on years of research, correspondence, phone calls, travel and memories of my mother, Margaret Sharman McCallum Idzenga and is dedicated to her and admiration of her perseverance.
